Speedmate, Korea’s leading automotive care brand, is expanding its popular “Starlight Maintenance” service nationwide, allowing customers to receive car maintenance even after standard business hours. On April 7, SK Speedmate (CEO: Moo-In Ahn) announced that its vehicle maintenance brand Speedmate will extend the Starlight Maintenance service to over 90 locations nationwide. Previously offered only at select metropolitan-area locations, the program now enables more working individuals to access maintenance services after work hours—without taking time off or visiting shops on busy weekends. The service runs until the end of June, after which customer feedback and usage data will be reviewed to determine future schedules and participating locations. A small nighttime service fee applies for after-hours use, and customers are encouraged to reserve at least two days in advance via the Speedmate website to ensure a smooth experience. Online prepayment also unlocks additional discounts on essential maintenance items. For April users, a special nighttime labor discount is available. To commemorate the nationwide launch, customers using Starlight Maintenance through June can receive a complimentary vehicle inspection, windshield washer fluid refill, and a coffee voucher. Customers who share a review on their personal SNS—featuring hashtags such as #Speedmate, #StarlightMaintenance, and #NightService, along with 5 photos and 1,000+ characters—will receive a ₩50,000 Speedmate service voucher. With more than 580 locations nationwide, Speedmate offers not only general maintenance, but also emergency roadside service, tire support, and import car parts distribution—cementing its role as a trusted mobility service partner. Since last year, the company has also been advancing its transformation into an “AI data company.” Alongside the Starlight Maintenance expansion, Speedmate is investing in data-driven service enhancements to reinforce its standing as Korea’s premier total car care brand.
